Year Four - Wrigley
Hello, and welcome to Year 4CW. I'm Miss Wrigley, the class teacher.
Year 4CW are incredibly lucky to be supported by Mrs Rabadia and Miss Sherwood, as well as Miss Szulek and Mrs Harding-Yung when I have my PPA.
Our PE days in Summer 1 are Wednesday and Friday.
In June of Year 4, we are taking part in the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC). This is an online times tables check for every Year 4 child in England. In school, we access Times Table Rockstars (TTRS) and other multiplication games, such as 'Hit The Button', to aid the children in learning their times tables and being able to pass the MTC.
How you can support your child at home:

Ensure that they complete homework tasks

Ensure that they access online learning tasks - TTRS and Spelling Shed (we expect children to be accessing these every night!)

Ensure that you are listening to them reading every night - please sign their planner once you have

Communicate with me about anything that is concerning you, or any questions you may have

Ensure that they go to bed at a reasonable hour - they can't learn if they're too tired!

Ensure they have a good breakfast before coming to school.
