Governors asked Mrs. Roughley to explore why some parents weren't hearing their children read three times a week on more detail so that we could plan a more comprehensive support programme for parents.

Chair and Headteacher meeting. We met and discussed how to support new governors to challenge effectively in meetings. We provided National College training as well as sentence stems to support all governors to question and challenge Mrs. Roughley effectively in meetings and school visits.
